Today we had a great meeting with Verónica Uribe the director of mobility of Parque Río Medellín! This is a very ambitious project in the city of Medellín that aims at changing the whole river front to convert it into a green arterial which will provide high quality public spaces and backbone a more sustainable mobility.
The students were very excited in this presentation. They saw the similarities in the urban transformations of Medellín and Barranquilla and saw how these changes not only are possible but they are happening closer than they think!
