A Japanese vision of Barranquilla

In 1988 the Japanese Development Cooperation conducted a study of the historical centre of Barranquilla. Here is a glimpse of some of the visions they had for the central market.

As you can probably guess by now these modernist images are a far-cry from today’s market. Nearly thirty years later, we are curious to compare these with the scenarios Swiss and Colombian participants will create together.
